We’ve found it really easy to get around England via train so far (we’ll see if that opinion holds up after our next trip to Warwickshire) so for our trip to Surrey we hopped on a train from London Waterloo and rode down to Gomshall. From there, it was a quick 15-20 minute walk to the famous town of Shere, Surrey. Shere is well known for being the backdrop in many popular Hollywood films such as Bridget Jones Diary, Four Weddings and a Funeral and my personal favorite… The Holiday. It is tiny but absolutely stunning and the perfect spot for lunch and a country stroll, which was my idea of the perfect Mother’s Day. Scroll through and see if you recognize any filming spots. If so, let me know in the comments!
