It was a gloomy spring day but I wanted to get out to do something and it looked like we’d have a window of a few hours without rain. We hopped on the bus for the 45 minute ride to Richmond Park when it started to down pour. Ugh! I grumbled, but we continued to our destination and hid under the bus stop for a few minutes to keep dry. Then, as quickly as it had started, the rain stopped! Score!!!!
We had the perfect muddy trek through stunning Richmond Park and Isabella Plantation, getting up close and personal with the gorgeous deer (keeping a respectful distance unlike some visitors… insert eye roll) and soaking in the vibrant colors of the blooming azaleas. The diversity of London never ceases to amaze me.
